The atmosphere of this album is fantastic. Makes you feel like you're knee-deep in the trenches drenched in mud, filth, sweat, and blood. Truly encapsulates the horrors of World War I, and the fact that the lyrics of some of the songs are taken from old war letters really adds to the authenticity. Late 90's BM worship, but it's also a lil more than that. This album takes the best elements from the scene it's inspired by and mostly avoids the worst of it; the song-writing is well-written, it's performed with passion and fun, and the production is raw but isn't lo-fi. (i.e. it doesn't obfuscate and/or suckass). Tl;dr It's safe but high quality BM. Recommended.

This duo from Berlin is playing raw black metal reminiscent of the second wave, yet the production is crystal clear, with some nice guitar riffs and occasional tremolo picking, the drums are also well distinct, the raspy vocals right in the typical tones, not too much in the background, like in some low-fi old school style. It's slower, but captivating. This is the duo's sophomore album, 4 long track actually, released already in 2017. Lyrics are in German, aber natürlich!
